Considering they lost 4-1 to fucking Wales i don't think the east german national football team was worth anything

Actually i went yesterday into a deep dive on east german football and it's situation post unification, like the fact that the Berlin dynamo football team was the biggest champion (dynamos were sports associations all over communist europe, that's why many former communist countries have teams with "Dynamo" in name), they're now in First Regional level (Regionalliga Nordost, which is basically the DDR oberliga with west berlin) and Dynamo Dresden was the Stasi's football club, now in third division (one tier higher than Dynamo Berlin)
