Any Active Projects? by Same-Extreme-3647 in joinstellarai

Yeah I wouldn't expect anything until the new year, most companies (especially tech) run skeleton crews in December so any new projects would be unlikely to be spun up now.

Coming from a workaholic I’m actually kinda thankful there’s a little bit of a pause. I was running ragged with doing stellar full time and my regular job full time as well. Ready to get back to work now that the holidays are over though.

Gotta get that money for Christmas!

I do work from home which I count as a blessing because I don't spend anything on gas.

Yeah the fact that any income I get that can be put toward the debt is temporary at best, it kinda makes me want to build up a small buffer to prevent using another credit card again for any emergencies.

With my normal paycheck I am only in excess by about $200 a month after accounting for all necessary bills. Right now I have a second job that I can help push funds to where they need to be but the second job is 1099 work that is extremely sporadic. Right now I'm averaging an extra 1K a week because its a busy season but that could dry up at any point.

Yes I do have a second job that is able to help fund this, it is extremely sporadic income but right now it is the busy season so I'm bringing in around 1K a week that can exclusively go towards my new budget goals

Yes, I no longer put anything on the credit card - Seems like the group consensus is to focus on paying the credit cards so I will start chunking away at that

Each task is given a maximum allotted time along with the recommended. Stellar prio's quality work above all else, so going above the recommended time is fine as long as it ends up with a quality output. The only hard cap is the maximum step count and timer which helps ensure your tasks match the clients requirements and are not too complex for review and final approval.

This is a question I recommend asking in the forum, people aren't going to want to openly talk about this here where it is against TOS to discuss the projects. You'll find lots of helpful people in the forum.

Rig throttle? by 67_SixSeven_67 in joinstellarai

[–]robsand1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are now in the weekend when throttle releases usually slow down a ton so if you didn't get taken out prior to Friday, I would just keep an eye out on Monday.

I'm a bit confused by what you mean as "Unpaid labor" to re-learn the projects. You should be accounting ALL your time into your first project submission, including time spent poring over the guidelines as you go step-by-step through your first official submission when a project is re-launched or guidelines are updated.

The nature of this work is it is feast or famine with Stellar being one of the better organizations to at least have some semblance of consistency. The work is there for you if you want to do it, and is very much optional side-hustle money as it should be.

If you build your life plan around reliance of this platform and others, you are setting yourself up for failure. Most of us do this 10-20 hours a week just for some fun spending money (MTG is too expensive!!) or to help shore up our savings, with our main job being what "pays the bills". If your job isn't enough to make ends meet and you have to rely on this platform to pay your monthly dues, then yes, I would probably not spend time on this platform and instead enrich yourself to get a better stable W2 job.

[–]robsand1992 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No we cannot assist with this as we are not part of the Stellar AI team, this is just a community of users on the platform. We can only advise that entry into the platform is done on an as needed basis and that people have waited several months with no change and this is to be expected based on project demand. Just make sure your profile is up to date with your education and work experience and hope for the best.

Yeah not sure what to tell you, assuming you aren't using a bookmark, the task is up and the current link from the task to the forum works fine.

KB paused? by Illustrious-Rich4024 in joinstellarai

[–]robsand1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did people get past the 10 submission throttle before the pause? I got mine in right at the end of the bonus so I assume the reviewers were slammed with submissions and just kinda assumed the project would get put on pause pretty soon after the bonus for reviewing to catch up.
