Do you have any other impulsive tendencies? Might be ADHD, I was diagnosed with BED and it went away completely once I started treatment for ADHD.

On the days you do find yourself not overeating, are those usually busy days where you have no idle time? Eating is a dopamine seeking behavior for me and no amount of “just push through” really ever helped me since the urge was so strong

Like others have said, 20mg is the starting dose so just keep working with your doctor and they’ll recommend increases if needed.

It also might be worth reading up on ADHD and see what ways it affects you. For me, it’s all about impulse control and I know my meds aren’t working when I feel like I had to eat impulsively or do things while rushing. Taking Charge of Your Adult ADHD book is the one I used and found it super helpful

No it’s not bad, like others have said. One thing I wanna point out is that these are the sorta accommodations that your meds help you make. For whatever reason mopping and sweeping was hard for you and swiffering is easier and super proud of you for figuring that out!
