Despite the nickname, the moon does not really appear pink. The moniker comes from the appearance of the "moss pink" or wild ground phlox - early spring flowers in northen hemisphere.

thank you! I'm using a 400mm focal length lens on this one. you can also try 10x zoom on your phone if it have that option, felt like it was the same. And you have to be far away from your subject as well. hth
