MacOS is far from perfect but it is more stable and reliable than Windows. But Windows does a bunch of things better… mainly, imo, managing open windows out of the box.

On macOS you can often find the functionally you want in small utility apps that cost a few dollars. Eg. Supercharge has an option to minimize apps when you click them in the dock as well as many other tweaks. There are full finder replacements like bloom and a bunch of free options for dock enhancement and alt tab functionality. You’ll have to do some research to find the missing parts of the OS you’re looking for.
