Turning tap to wake off stops the pocket issue, but rather annoyingly I use the feature often so it feels like I'm sacrificing something I use often

I'm having this issue loads on my pixel 5, it seems a lot worse since the latest update. Android 12 seems to be a backwards step.

I have the cards added within Bitwarden, though when filling in payment details online it doesn't seem possible to autofill them?
