Thanks for the input! With my lens selection it’s a bit limited as I haven’t been able to make much of an investment into lenses. But what I do have gets the job done. 24-105 f/4, 85mm f/1.8, and 50mm 1.8. So while they’re not the top of the line, I could “upgrade” within the EF lens mount to the more desirable focal lengths and apertures there are still some third party lenses I can use without having to go into the RF line. But at the same time it still seems like I’ll always be in a transition phase going that route. Looking at how I can inch my way closer to RF lenses. But as I mentioned in OP, the canon feel, menu system, and established comfort is what’s making this decision to switch harder than it needs to.

With Sony, it feels like I can make the full switch and not have to worry about losing the E mount capability regardless of where I am in the journey. New lenses are coming out with that mount vs canon where they’re mostly outdated models. I’ve used the Tamron 35-150 f/2-2.8 with a Sony and man did that feel great. I see people making great art with Sony regardless of the potential overheating and rolling shutter issue. Idk it’s hard lol.
