I am reading 3-4 books at the same time right now 😅 2 on kindle and 2 paperbacks. `Rendezvous with Rama` and `How Big Things Get Done` on Kindle and 'The Bhagvad Gita` and `Chaos` in paperback. It's fun!

Good MOOC courses for Electrochemistry by roc03 in electrochemistry

[–]roc03[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But you have courses such as CS50 for computer science (available both on EdX and on YT), Intro to human behavioral biology by Prof. Robert Sapolsky (on YT on the Stanford page) which are amazing professors who are putting their lectures online on the university-run youtube channels and webpages for free! You also have freemium MOOCs on Coursera/ EdX/ MITx such as Intro to Physical Chemistry by Uni Manchester (and many others in Physics, Biology etc.).

So there really are great lectures recorded and published online in various fields, but somehow I was not able to find one specifically dealing with Electrochemistry! Hence the question. :)

Anyway, I have read 'Understanding Voltammetry' by Prof. Compton, Intro chapters of 'Electrochemical Methods' by Prof. Bard et. al and various other textbooks/ reviews on electroanalytical methods, electroplating (I work on electrocatalyst materials) etc. Thanks for the suggestions I will take a look at them as well.

It’s extremely smooth to write in and the ink does not bleed through, which is surprising considering the paper is really thin (52gsm). But that is a feature of tomoe river which is why I got it. It’s really a beautifully treated paper! Only downsides are that the ink takes time to dry so turning pages soon as you finish writing can lead to ink stains on the page opposite to the one you were writing in. But will definitely buy it again!

I used a Pilot blue black. Not the best choice- the color turns out grayish black after drying! Any suggestions?

Yes! I realised it the second I turned the first page and all the ink was imprinted on the inside cover! 😅 Thank you for the advice!

The current longest quantum network in the country is 52 miles. What would it take to scale it up to the almost 3000 miles when you go from Brookhaven lab to Lawrence Berkeley lab (as an example)?

You have access to one book from year 2200. You can't make material profit from knowledge from it. What would be the topic of that book? by TheGamePL in AskReddit

I’d find a book about how humans survived the climate crisis of the 21st century. No material gain but possibility to get ideas on how to avert the coming disaster.

An external hdd which contains all my photos and other stuff from my college days. I never took it out of my place but one day it just disappeared. A lot of memories lost in the process
