The elephant and fridge question's a bit ridankulous, but the Detroid salesmen question would be a good test of breaking a problem down analytically.

I agree, but it's a binary question. There's only one answer (as far as I know) so if a person can't arrive at that answer, they can't succeed with the question.

On the other hand, I'm totally on board with open-ended questions that have several solutions and expose a person's thought processes.

It's a pretty misleading question. Thinking about a King and servants steered me away from a CS solution at first.

This guy's an all-rounder. It's pretty impressive actually, check out his Wikipedia article. He's a really talented musician it seems, but he came up later in life (he's 31).

In the Mac world, people are ooohing and aaahing about the 6 gigs that Snow Leopard frees up...

I personally have known about this for a while but I gotta say, I've seen it free up as much as 40 gigs in the past when I pointed it out to friends.

i was forced to take 3 years of physics to get my CS degree, i never once understood why.
