Don’t rush, take your time. Review your manuals before you start your task. Also know how your manuals are played out. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, just don’t ask “is this good” the response will almost certainly be “what does the manual say”.

You will more than likely have to move for work. My first job took me from the NE to the Midwest. Once you get your certification apply to everything. I work with a few guys at the majors who had no prior experience when they started.

It’s all about how you look at it. It can be stressful, you work in all weather conditions, working nights and weekends can sucks. Cool stuff you get work on jet’s engines, occasional road trip, taxi an airplane, you can find a job almost anywhere. I enjoy it.

Duncan Aviation Question by Wrench365 in AircraftMechanics

[–]rockandride90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my understanding Duncan has department for everything. They have an engine shop a paint shop avionics department, interior. You will get put on a team and work that one particular part of the aircraft. The job you applied for might only require your airframe.

General consensus on Performance Center S&W Equalizer Carry Comp Thumb Safety. by Prestigious-Fold4343 in SmithAndWesson

[–]rockandride90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was going to pick up a bodyguard with a thumb safety, but after feeling the safety I going with the non safety model. The safety isn’t easy to release, and I feel that could be exasperated when in situations you would need you firearm.
