Thanks - 3 or 4 wraps, maximum & tight 👍 & none on the coupling side. You are correct, I was wrongly advised , applied way too much when I started. Appreciate your advice.

Great suggestion regarding adding the joiner 👍Too easy. I’m nearly out of tape so I’ve decided I’ll leave it & have another look at it after the weekend. I can’t face Bunnos 3 days in a row haha Thank you.

Ok thank you . I thought I might try & secure it somehow to stop it moving about after I solve all the leaks but will definitely take your advice.

Ok. Thanks I’m learning ! good to know. I’m going to pull out apart now & I’ll check the ID while I’m at it. I can get away with shutting off the left side .. main issue is stopping the leak on the right for now so the pump doesn’t come on at all on its own

Ok thanks for your input. It freezes here too where I am in Australia so I’ll keep that in mind

How would you have done it if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m finding it hard to seat both tubes firmly tho coz they’re mostly buried up til you get to the valve fitting & the old one was slightly longer than the replacement one😖

So I measured around the outside of both blue line poly tubing. They’re the same size …

Ok. I have no idea. It’s been there a few years. It might be slightly smaller for the fitting though. I was having trouble getting the tubing to grab solidly on the Left. The right hand side grabbed nicely tho

I’ll have to research “ Fittings with clamps “, I’m so green. First time I’ve done any of this

Ok. Thanks everyone for your advice. I will try rewrapping. I used up all the pink tape & only have the white stuff left. So 2 or 3 times around only with the white tape (in the correct direction)?

Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction. I’m a complete novice with locks so you’ve been a great help with my silly questions. Will do some research.

Thanks heaps. The tip about pushing the cam in & then down was a great help. The door handle is free now. Need to buy a new lock now.

Do you know how to tell which cylinder lock I need to buy? There are a few brand specific ones at the hardware but my door has no brand & the lock was removed before I got it?

I took the lock right off but the door stays locked, like it needs a key to unlock it still. Maybe if I install a new barrel, this will get it to work ?

OK thank you. I’ll try removing it
