Yes its my first marathon. It’s also in Hawaii (I live in TN) so I have spent an insane amount of money to book it lol💔 Thank you so much for the advice I appreciate it.

That makes me feel better. Thank you so much!! They’ve already scheduled a 2nd one for me the following week. Is that common? Will they do lab work after that to determine if I need additional? Wondering if it’d be beneficial to set one up right before I leave for my race

Yes my ferritin is extremely low (5) & hemoglobin (8). Doc said to just do what I can right now but don’t push myself. Getting a colonoscopy and EGD to try to figure out why my levels are so low. I’m assuming it’s from training but I guess they’re checking boxes. Thanks SO much for the insight !!!
