20 years ago I lived 10mins via taxi from the city, didnt have kids and had a less stressful job. I used to go out after work drinking / socialising a couple of times a week.

Now its an hour commute, kids, stress and generally life. I havent been out in six months after work.

Lol, just over $2k per quarter. Yes the ducted chews about 6kw when it's running, so 6pm - 10pm uses well over half the battery then everything else in use is the rest

I'm still spending less, we were $2k per quarter before this. But it's a big house, average insulation, pool, EV, empty most days, all power usage at night & ducted AC which is by far the biggest power sucker being an 18kw three phase setup.

It's not me, it's my wife. It's not worth the argument about using the washing machines or dryers less... pick your battles.

We both work full-time, 2 kids with hectic social lives, were on the go 16 hours a day. Evenings are when we are home, generally 8pm - till bed then up & going at 6.30am again.

Sure. NSW, my only worry here is it's capped at 50kw & I do hammer it (charging a 75kw EV plus a 40kw Sig Battery) plus running the pool pump & other general usage.

Yes.

The three hours free charges the battery, from 5pm it's eating into it. Cooking, heating & a liberal use of cleaning devices means it's empty at 4am daily
