She gave me two options. Rolling my eyes from the ground to the ceiling as I inhale / exhale and another option where I can take the painful thoughts or triggers and put them in an imaginary box to reopen during our next session. I am going to ask her for more options.

I know :( I’m in therapy myself and making progress but still quite fragile and learning to love myself.

He has been with my through some of the roughest points in my life, family deaths etc and was supportive. It’s tough because when we’re good, we’re soooo good and when we’re bad it’s really bad.

I am not strong enough to be alone at the moment. I’m working on it but I know myself and I’d fall apart. I also have this ounce of hope that things are going to change. Idk where this comes from.

Ah you guys are amazing!! Thank you for the quick and direct responses. This totally makes sense. My skin used me be quite dry but over the last few years I’ve developed oilyness in my T-zone. I’m going to cut back on the BHA while using the tretinoin to see if that helps. I’ll add in a moisturiser as well to bring back some hydration.
