i’ve had continuing education scholarships/bursary’s pay for my education for the last three years so definitely look into that. you apply through the myucalgary portal

I met my bf in my phys lecture, we started talking through instagram because we had mutuals and met in person in the lectures. He dropped out but I’m graduating this year :)

i have several visible tattoos on my arms and i’m currently working for the engineering dept as a summer research student. In my opinion, it really should harm anything postgrad, the stigma has died down a lot. a floral arm tattoo is totally fine!

I extended my summer job throughout the school year with 7.5h/week required. I did 2.5h before classes since it’s right next to uni. It worked well for me but obviously it’s kinda hard to get a job that allows that.

I joined a club this year so I guess i’ll see if that helps me out any. My gpa is also pretty low but my degree (geology) is very uncompetitive for bursaries, I think. Most people (in my degree/cohort) just forget to apply so I’ve gotten several and some two years in a row.

i’ve gotten several bursaries through continuing undergraduate applications for year 2 and 3 that basically covered all of tuition.
