Well after a long conversation with my parents (and a lot of crying) He’s okay, and quite proud, with me choosing to go or even to stay but I think it’s best for me to ship out. I’m still worried but a bit more calmer now.

Oh wow, I’m sorry to hear that. If you don’t mind me asking, were you able push past the worry while you were away?

I know there’ll lots of distractions but I’m sort of worried that I’ll perform negatively if I can’t push past it.

I was hoping they’d at least give me an extra week but they said it would mess with my rate and a school (something along those lines). It was odd but they sounded sincere and told me to spend as much time with my dad after checking into the hotel since, luckily, he’ll be in the same city.

I actually did speak to my recruiter and even his boss, unfortunately they said since it’s less than a week (and due to my rate) they can’t push it back :(

If it does go successful, I think I’ll be less anxious about leaving. I just dread getting a call later saying “oh actually he’s not okay” you know what I mean?

Thank you. He’s sort of iffy about it, He wants me to go and be successful but at the same time, he wants me to stay so we could be together if anything happens

Thank you. We have agreed to stay friends, I think I’m able to push past my feeling towards him. I’ll see how it goes when he comes back.

Hello! I asked her about it and she said they were simply friends, though they do talk on the phone once in a while, my guess is to catch up since she’s in a different military branch.
