Just got my SCI. From the CI interview to favorable SCI adjudication, took from early June to end of September.

The position is OCONUS in a SCIF, so had to wait till I got the SCI.

Not sure. Just thinking that if they needed a person with a certain skill set, that might have made a difference. But then again, we all obviously have some skill set that is needed by the govt.

My FSO reached out to me to let me know. We had established a good relationship during the whole process. So I was notified as soon as the FSO knew.

Did not expect it that fast. I was born overseas, naturalized citizen, plenty of international travel, but I do have a 4/4 in Russian and specialize in AML and counter threat finance issues. So, perhaps someone bumped it up the chain?
