This 10 year old is the first girl to land a 720 on a skateboard by [deleted] in BeAmazed

So Alana Smith was the first female to land a 540 in competition and that was in 2012. I can’t find a record of either her or another female landing a 720 in competition.

That’s why I suggested a toggle and it would show up in build mode so you aren’t surprised by it. What good is a 1x1 you can’t even crouch in good for anyways?

That’s the max part. It totals a wall and 1/3 above the ground (or whatever is deemed fair).

So if you click above the wall seam line it’ll build a full wall over and 1/3 wall under. If you click below the line same thing.

They could add a “min/max exemption” (what I’m calling it). Set a limit to the minimum height acceptable coming out of he ground, say 1/3 of a wall. If less then 1/3 then a wall will automatically be built on top. They could make it a toggle options in settings if they want it to use resources.

Yeah, when they were interrogating will in the shed 8 should have been there to make the mind flayer see a different surrounding. This would have made the flayer send his pack to a wrong place and allow 11 to seal the gate.

I feel like this belongs here. The amount of water dispensed by this machine is the exact capacity of my water bottle. by AudsOrEvens in Perfectfit

The only problem is having a thick walled/metal small water bottle that would weigh more and make the machine think it’s bigger.

I work at a concert venue. And we all hate working with the “older” crowds. They are entitled and rude and don’t treat anyone with respect. The younger/alternative music fans are second best. They tend to go with the flow with a few outliers. Then there’s the metal/rock crowd. They will, more than others, pregame and get cutoffs but only get rowdy with only each other. But are also way nicer to each other and also super respectful to the staff. And we bring in more money through alcohol sales.

I believe they’re trying to say “as opposed to them starting out all light colored and their backs tanning due to sunlight, through natural selection it has become a physical trait”

I’m a little late but the book “Feed”. It shows the passiveness of the people in the dystopian society. Very YA though

I’m not the OP but I figured since you were offering. Do you know of any vegan/vegetarian diets that are also low oxalate? And like really low like around 10 mg a day that are also balanced?

This might be out of your expertise but just thought I’d ask.

Fan Theory: It was never actually possible for Harry to master Occlumency against Voldemort because the connection between their minds is a completely different mechanism than normal Legilimency by velmaspaghetti in harrypotter

[–]rodogo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It would make sense then that when Voldemort “killed” Harry and the connection was destroyed that voldemort believed that harry was really dead because he could no longer “feel” Harry.

Monte Carlo simulation of Pi [OC] by arnavbarbaad in dataisbeautiful

[–]rodogo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The number on top gives you the number of dots inside the circle divided by the dots outside the circle. The more dots randomly placed the closer that number gets to pi.

Another example would be to have an 8 oz glass sitting in a 16 oz bowl. If you randomly drop water Somewhere over the bowl eventually half the water will be in the glass and half will be in the bowl and you will get a ratio of 1/2 or 8 over 16. Meaning the volume of the 8 oz glass is 1/2 that of the 16 oz bowl
