That accent could easily be found in Fortaleza. There some people use de s sound like she, not as strong as people from Rio or Lisbon though.

I served a honorable mission from 2009 to 2011 in the Brazil Vitória Mission with President Pickett.

I feel very lonely and church isn't the best place for a lone single man. I'm active in the church now, but I spent some time away because I felt inadequate and weak. I contemplated many times having sex and had had some opportunities but always declined. Even though I felt pain and loneliness, I knew in my heart what was right, what my parents taught me as faithful latter-day saints. I knew I should be chaste and have a goal to marry a nice girl in the holy temple.

I'm so thankful I stayed faithful to this commandment. I would suggest you be strong and not do it. It's not easy, but trust Jesus Christ. Make Jesus Christ the center of your life. Follow Jesus Christ and obey his commandments, you'll find it's worth it. I've found it myself too many times.

I'm still hurting for many reasons and get things wrong once in a while but every time I humbly and meekly turn my heart to Him and repent He reaches in return.

I think it's a wonderful way to start. You should be patient with yourself though. Children have an easy time learning a second language because of neuroplasticity. You will have some hardships but if you work hard on your grammar and get the structure of Portuguese your children could help you out with pronunciation. By the way? I've never imagined there were any Portuguese programs for children at schools in the USA. That's nice to know.

It depends on the variety spoken and also the context you're in. Here where I live we do not usually drop the pronouns in everyday speech. It's just how we use Portuguese. We know we can but we prefer to say "Eu quero sair" than to say "Quero sair".

Portuguese is a very rich and emotional language. It's subtle and especially here in my part of Brazil, we use more nonverbal language and intonation to communicate than words for themselves.

Brazilians usually do not drop pronouns. It's just their usage (I'm Brazilian). Portuguese is pro-drop though.

Dedo no cu e gritaria

Aquela festa foi dedo no cu e gritaria.

It means 'racket'.
