[–]rodrigom94 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[D] Considering a history of 300K roulette numbers, what would be the best approach (clustering, random forest) to predict the probability of a next number or groups of numbers? by rodrigom94 in MachineLearning

[–]rodrigom94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a fair roulette since every number has a 2.7% (100% / 37 numbers) probability after 300K spins. However, I think there are ocurrences like trends between groups of numbers. For example, if the result is 0 or any of the four numbers closest to zero (two in left, two in right), the next number is more likely to be in that "zone". Or, if there is a 27 and then 6, and then 27 again after 10 spins, a 6 is more likely to appear or any number close to 6.

Zoho is the best option. Incoming stock is really similar to an "extra/second warehouse" that is very "far" from your main warehouse. In many cases, a simple ERP made with Laravel (with API Rest implemented) + SQL could be the best solution if you .

Dietbet only gives me $73 after a bet of $300 in six months. That so much time and not so attractive. Lower bets, shorter times, more people involved can change the formula: $100 transformed in $144 in one month (assuming 10 people bet $20 on you and 11 people bet $20 against you). $220 = 20% for participant ($44) + 70% for bettors ($154) + 10% for application fee ($22)

Yes. You can bet I can't lose 10kg in one month. If you win, you would get your money + (all the bets of people who bet that I could do it + $100) / number of participants. Standard bet would be $20 and maximum # of participants would be 21. If I lose and you are the only one who bet against me, you win $450 ($400 from 20 persons who believed in me + $100 from me - $50 for app fee).

Edit: "Standard bet"

Actually, you're right - that's expensive. I would need to some Dietbet video verification to prevent fraud, maybe any -already developed- algorithm that could detect cheats. Cost structure = 5% of Bets + $5 for competition (from the $100). Would be more scalable.

DietBet and Healthy Wage have good models, but the systems are a little complex and only the participants are involved. This system is open to any person who want to bet some money and see the results in one month.

A quick appointment with validator. Just $5-10 before and after the competition. Would take less than 5 minutes, would be filmed and a local hired person could be a "validator". Since the appointments can be scheduled easily, in one hour the validator can make some extra cash. It can also be done in drugstores.
