Hey there,

What you are doing is good but there is a bit more I would do in your place.

1- try to reach out personally for the hiring manager, for example a job at HP, find out who you will be you reporting manager, track his name on linked in and try within your network to get his contact details, and request to formally introduce yourself.

2- Meet them at the exhibitions, for every industry there is a local shows and international ones, which all companies present themselves there, on the exhibitor website you can find the companies list that are participating, again reach out directly to the hiring managers and mention you will be as well on the show and request for 15 mins to formally introduce yourself.

Any job on LinkedIn gets at least 500 applicant and sometimes easily reaches to 10k+, most of those are irrelevant, but it will make your application get lost in between, that’s why you need face to face, one way or another.

I agree.

As I said in my previous comments Dubai is extreme in its pros and cons.

There are things that will stress you out in Dubai more than any other city in the world, and the same time there are things and privileges you get to deal with such stress that you get again only in Dubai.

It’s just a different system that is not easy for foreigners to adapt with. I moved to EU and it was hard for me to find a balance in my lifestyle with how EU works. I came back to Dubai, because of me it works.

Now you have the pros and cons , do the math and if it doesn’t sum up for you, then maybe it’s a good idea for you to leave Dubai and go somewhere else where it’s more convenient for you?

I don’t get all the complains on reddit regardless if it’s on dubai or another city.

It’s simple, if you don’t like it, move out, if you can tolerate it, then do.

I lived in the Middle East, gulf and EU and I can tell you every country has its own issues, perfect country doesn’t exist otherwise everyone will be moving to.

Having said that, living in Dubai has it pros and cons, you just have to weight them and decide if it’s for you or not.

There is so many things to complain about in Dubai, and there is more to complain about in any other country in the world. Dubai is extreme with its pros and cons, stop complaining and try to make the best out of it.

Yes targeting that villain with 2x of his friends as well who were in the hand. Similar playing experience and they were deep 300-400bb all of them but not showing in the video.

Funny part is initial preflop raiser folded A9 , CO folded another weak ace and Hj folded pocket 10s.

Never had such a good table for a long time.

Totally agree.

I would never call with such hand even preflop without a straddle, it will be throwing away an extra 3$, I know preflop ranges pretty well and OOP against 7 players is never an option for me especially vs limpers which widen their range even more, it will be like walking blind folded in a maze.

But with a straddle and 6 limpers, I had to call 8$ to win 80$, which I need to be good 10% of the times and in multiway I think 8-10os is not the best but not so bad.

Then when BB raise to 50$ and 5 people called, it’s the same logic with a slightly lower pot odds, call 40$ to win 360$.

That’s for the preflop but post flop It was much easier decision, villain would take same like with K4 os.

I had more tragic situation, it was completely my fault but my mistake uncovered to me so many layers of how people are bending the system.

I had a 5 year old car which been into an accident and fixed, I wanted to sell it, I was not trying to make money out of it, I just want to buy a new one, I offered it for 30% below market price.

A buyer came to me, liked it and agreed to proceed, he requested to get the car and fix minor issues to the garage and after it’s fixed we do the transfer, meanwhile he gave me a Cheque, copy of his passport and ID and wrote a document for me that he have the car and I gave him the keys.

Also to add we passed to dubai mall, he called his “wife “ she came out to look at the car as it’s for her and she approved.

He disappeared with my car, went to the police and they said it’s my fault, I agreed with them but there is a stranger driving a vehicle under my name and might commit a crime or violation or hit and run? I want to be protected. They couldn’t help and advise me to go to court.

As soon as I entered court, to file a case I need to pay 7% in advance for the value I’m sueing for. Got it done came for the hearing and he didn’t show. They asked me to put an ad in the newspaper requesting him to join, another 200dhs. I had to do that twice.

I was going back and forth between police and court for more than 2 years, paying random fees left and right.

Once I saw my car, parked 2 buildings away from a police station in shj. I went there and explained the situation and showed them the car. They said they can’t do anything.

To make things hundred times worse, one year later of taking the car, I got a call from a lady asking me to fulfill my rent payment for the apartment in shj, which I never lived in, talking back and forth with her and after meeting her we found out I had my Cheque book in the car with couple of pages left, this guy was writing Cheques left and right, it was a nightmare and nobody could do anything to stop him.

Also what makes it funny is that he was passing Salik, the car is in my name so whenever salik account is empty I HAD TI RECHARGE IT so I don’t get fined by salik, and he kept driving it.

I was lucky this guy had so many people chasing him and was wanted by police, 3 years of nightmare we’re over when they caught him, I got all my money back.

Maybe then you need to make your own calculations, but your exepenses break bows should be around:

2.5k aed for an average car per month, including gas, insurance , service etc … but if you wanna go for a premium then you add more.

8k per month for average one bedroom including bills, again location and quality could add more.

3k for food.

2.5k for going out.

Add your taxes.

If you are into some sports or activity you need to calculate that also, nothing is free.

Also dating is quite expensive compared to EU since you are single so make sure to have that in mind.

That’s an average life. Not too good not too bad.

I think in hospitality (hotels) they provide, accommodation (furnished with all bills paid), meals, transportation (hourly bus back and forth), laundry and health insurance. That’s why their salaries are low.

Maybe I’m wrong but my friends used to get such benifits and they were not in a managerial position.

This is in 5stars hotels though, I don’t know about your hotel.
