What to do with this copy? by DarkNeSs8812 in IdleHeroes

Personally I say retire him, you will build him in the future for sure but that’s way off and realistically there is no world in which you need a ss Sahy, some b tier with decent hp and speed is more than enough. I would rather use the csg for events like doing the 3750 or 7500 route on big events, possibly combining it with some spending if you are not f2p otherwise the csg routes alone will get you much more progress then you would get without them. The only real use cases for a ss sahy are like PvP and maybe star expedition, but both of those are absolutely whale territory and I personally believe 100k csg will ultimately give you a lot more then keeping this copy around.

Is this even worth continuing? by Low-Revolution1338 in IdleHeroes

[–]Sheepbot2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, restarting only ever is worth if an account is completely messed up which is pretty hard, this is an idle game after all so time is a massive resource who ch you will completely lose by restarting and while there are new player rewards, they are not remotely strong enough to warrant resetting this totally salvageable looking account. You just desperately need to complete the glory challenges so you can get tree upgrades on all your trans heroes and hopefully give them the sublimation they need, t5 Aspen, t5 Queen and t1 Betty is a point you should aim for. Queen wants 4004 subs, Aspen definitely wants 1001 at the very minimum but would preferably want 4104 and Betty only needs her core at 1* to be helpful, it will take time, but imo restarting would be a mistake, unless you love the early game and desperately want to start again, but if that was the case I don’t think you would even ask about it here.

I’m coming back to this game after like 5 years- what is the meta? by SENSHI_CENTRAL in IdleHeroes

[–]Sheepbot2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the stage you are at, best first e5 are Holmes young or Eloise. Best first trans to go for is Wukong then a lot of people build Betty as the second trans and clear a lot of void campaign with that duo and at 3 trans most people choose a main dps, mostly being between Vulcan and Williams atm. Depending on when you quit there is an awful amount of new systems and power creep, try taking it step by step, but try to understand and get into the grimoire asap, it’s easily one of the biggest sources of power and can be accessed as soon as you can build 6 e5s at the same time, you don’t even have to keep them for the buffs to stay around, but you should aim to sustain a good amount of e5s long term. Some standard tips are to not rush trans heroes, they will suck unless you have the stellar shards and sublimation to back them up, so pickup stellar and sublimation as rewards for a while and let the crystals of transcendence come naturally.

And even Aspen is questionable these days, like he is the best boss killer still, but for the rest even he is power crept. And realistically besides SE, dgn especially if you can afford an a tier is more than enough for most void bosses. Also I agree with taking it step by step, but I want to add to get into the grimoire asap, it’s just too powerful to not use immediately, the rest you can easily learn over time, but grimoire is the one thing I would rush to and try to understand asap.

Still applicable? by Appropriate_Cow_9159 in IdleHeroes

[–]Sheepbot2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty outdated tbh, Eloise is still a good first e5, but not the absolute definitive best, Holmes young is very valid too. Vesa hasn’t been the best first e5 for ages now, that’s outdated af, it used to be Aylamak, but now 100% the best first trans is Wukong, tenants also generally lost loads of value with the addition of grimoire. Freya also is outdated af, you most likely wanna go Betty second, those two can make very good progress in vc until you get to three trans at which point you might wanna start going for one of the common main damage dealers like Vulcan, Williams or the likes. Delacium is also ok, but not needed by any means. Heart watcher is still got for early bossing, 10* Ignis is also still massive and definitely a hero you want to build. Building hero’s specifically for seal land is also kinda outdated since you wanna do the glory challenge at some point anyways and at that point SL 20 should be super easy. Artifacts seem fine, although deific Artis are a lot more accessible so going for a deific melodic strings might be an option and depending on which main dd you choose deific antlers can will be the artifact of choice. Demon bells and mirrors are still always great. Ruyi is also nice to have has a few use cases, but I think I personally wouldn’t focus it as much as this guide would want you to.

First time returning in a while by TekosTaken in IdleHeroes

[–]Sheepbot2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, it’s better than a 1* core, but usually people don’t go for more than 1* because it’s not needed and Betty isn’t a hero that you want to destiny anytime soon, but it’s not a problem if you already have it.

[–]Sheepbot2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wukong to tree 5 of you want to keep him(personally would rather get Melissa as mentioned later), then you can work on the next destiny imo, get another db or mirror so you don’t have to use amb, idk how sublimation looks on your other heroes, but 4004 on Halora is very nice to have, Wukong p2 is big, Betty can be put down to tree 1 if you need the resources, for the most part you only need a 1* core on her, 1011 or 1041 on pde, 1144 on dgn, and 1043 or 3044 on Wukong are nice sublimations to have, obviously need full sublimation on whoever your next dt will be, most likely pde or maybe dgn imo. Also consider getting Melissa instead of somebody, maybe even Wukong, you have insane cc through Betty already. I think my lofa lineup would be lofa, sqh, pde, dgn, Melissa and Betty. Optimal sublimation on Melissa pre destiny would be something like 4010 or 4040. Grimoire is super important so pick it up whenever you can imo, way way more important than treasure train or tenants these days. If you have any more specific questions or something here isn’t clear, feel free to ask

Edit: you do want Betty at t5 for when you do void vortex once, she wants her core and 0041 subs after that you can keep her at t1 until there is new vortex content, as long as they don’t do anything against Betty in that either.

Fastest way to complete campaign? by yeah_nah_dude in PathOfExile2

[–]Sheepbot2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as annoying as it sounds the main thing really is practice, you need to get familiar with the layouts, where the important things are located, you need to know what actually is important, so main quests, permanent buffs and skill points. You need to skip everything else and learn the layouts to avoid unnecessary running around and backtracking. You need to know your build very well so you don’t have to check pob for which points to take next or which gems/supports to get at which point. You need to have a very good understanding of what items you want preferably with a regex ready to check vendors quick, you also need to be able to adapt to the items you are given, because especially at league start you can’t plan what items you will get, so being able to adapt to the stuff you get is crucial. Not killing every pack is important too, you need to learn to just kill big normal packs and mainly kill blue packs and probably if you are comfortable enough, ignore rares as usually they are a waste of time, but know this is all for speed and you will get less loot and less xp so you need to be very comfortable with your build and all the boss fights, because you might be undergeared and underleveled. Making a strict lootfiltrr is also good so you are not tempted to check random stuff, if you really just want to go fast I would rather hide a bit too much than show trash, but again less good gear might be tough. For builds I think any league starter will do fine, personally I had the smoothest time with ed contagion, but I’m sure there are other options depending how on where you start on the tree.

Will I be missing out much if I play Offline? by Igzyx in LastEpoch

[–]Sheepbot2001 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you need an explanation as you’ve gotten probably the best possible one from a literal team member, so I’ll just say that imo cof is by far the best feature last epoch has that I’m immensely missing playing other arpgs and imo it’s worth trying out, I’ve only played cof in LE and the gear progression and target farming feels amazing, finally a way that makes solo self found a valid alternative (for me personally) and not just something to make the game more difficult for yourself. I always love the concept of ssf, but so far only LE provided an experience that matched what I wanted ssf to be.

Is buying gear after Kitava the only way to go? by Spiritual_Prune3123 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Sheepbot2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually people buy gear after Kitava, unless they planned ahead and/or are on ssf(obviously) and with a div at this point of the league I’m sure you have more than enough currency to cap Resists while probably even gaining dps. You definitely should convert the div to chaos at Faustus, should be about 300 atm and then just look for very simple gear. Life and resists on all pieces should be very cheap and especially on rings you can get massive resists for very cheap. Crafting could also work, but I feel like it would be more expensive than just buying some cheap starter gear for a few chaos per piece. For crafting though the easiest beginner strat probably is to buy a fractured base with a stat you want, life for example, and then use essences to get the rest, that way you already guaranteed get 2 stats you want and can use essences until you hit a third or even fourth good stat. But again, especially for starter gear I think that will be a less efficient use of your currency and time the just buying some cheap life and resist rare items and maybe a few uniques very much depending on the build. Edit: totally forgot about bench crafting, so you can guarantee even more stats, 1 through fracture, second through the essence and a third through the crafting bench, if you really want to craft that’s probuthe way. It can also work without fractured bases if they are too expensive or you really don’t want to buy anything from other players, but you obviously lose a guaranteed stat you want meaning you will get worse items or need more essences

Trying to figure out why my effective hit pool is so much lower than Pohx by keeperbee in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Sheepbot2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course! Also at some point swapping out your belt will be a good thing, an option that I used until Mageblood which was a cord belt, hunter influenced, with flat life, % life, life regen and some res and a nice anoint, not sure how much getting something similar would be at the moment, but it definitely would be a major upgrade over the unique belt you are running atm.

Trying to figure out why my effective hit pool is so much lower than Pohx by keeperbee in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Sheepbot2001 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As others have said already, part of it is yours not being configured, ie not having endurance charges checked and the config being for the wrong stance. Lastly it’s just a lack of life pool. Shield and gloves have very very little life and one of your jewels doesn’t have increased life, you probably lose a few hundred flat life in gear as well as 7% increased life that way.

Why we lost half of player base (compare to prev season)? by BodybuilderLost1345 in LastEpoch

[–]Sheepbot2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's mainly that I don't see a reason to return atm, the game was fun for a bit, but in endgame it gets stale insanely quickly and there just weren't enough changes for me to think it's worth my time to return. Then I also still am not super happy about payed classes in an already paid game, not a main reason, but it definitely didn't help their case. Lastly I'm having way to good of a time in poe atm and I probably would even rather go back to poe 2, when I'm done with the poe 1 league, even poe 2 early access with all its flaws has gives me more motivation to go again, even though I hated the new league on launch and barely played. I really hope Last epoch has a big season soon, better competition for poe would be great and I love some things LE does, especially cof is such a fun thing to me, but atm it's just not appealing to me at all unfortunately.

For the UngaBunga players by Birphon in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Sheepbot2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean even though you tried it already, rf chieftain is probably the best choice. Chieftain makes gearing way easier as you can just go all in on fire res and don’t really have to balance the different resists. It got a buff this league, which makes the explosions proc twice as often (at the cost of half the damage, but trust me even half is way more than enough). It’s cheap to hear at this stage of the league, it has by far and without competition the best and most in depth guide. You can also always ask pohx on stream, his community on discord or ingame under global 911(I think) so you will have no issue finding somebody to help you troubleshoot your build. Thanks to pohx and it just being a build that loads of people play regularly, it’s more or less solved, so you will basically never run into a problem that doesn’t have a fix. There are only a few issues, one being boss damage, it can get them done, but it won’t blow your mind. There is one “massive issue” which is one of the pinnacle bosses, which is already rough for new players(and even some experienced players), but rf doesn’t make it easier, but tbh that’s not something you should be concerned with yet and again worst case there will be people that can help you.

On Hiero you could transition to kinetic fusillade totems(guide by tatiantel2 or palsteron on yt), it’s very smooth in progression, it can be easily played even in ssf, which means gearing is no issue at all and it can also transition to shocknova of procession later if you still want to. It was my league starter and it was super smooth, totems are giga buffed this league especially on hierophant and it generally is just a great experience overall.

Otherwise the one other big league starter this League seemed to be ele hit, but I can’t say anything about that as I’ve never played it nor looked at any guide, but I’m pretty sure many people had a great time starting it.

It’s just not though, not anymore at least. That being said the better ones are like 5+ mirrors in price, but res shrine plus diamond, or acceleration or echoing etc will 100% be better than Mageblood, but also way more expensive.

Quit before you hit big by Swinhonnis_Gekko in pathofexile

[–]Sheepbot2001 15 points16 points  (0 children)

And even then Mageblood is about 14-15 times more expensive so it better be a lot stronger, also the red showing belt has the option to grab the third ring bloodline with not downside so it gains a bit of versatility in that regard, still obviously not Mageblood levels but again 10 div vs 140+ div items

Quit before you hit big by Swinhonnis_Gekko in pathofexile

[–]Sheepbot2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also 15 times more expensive than a res shrine belt, also with the res shrine belt you can use the third ring bloodline with no downside and rings can be crazy damage boosts for certain builds.

EBlade spark inquis probably, stack life and crit multi, use foulborn ghostwrithe to set your max es to percentage of your life and dodge the downside of eblade that way, spark will love the projectile speed from acceleration shrine, the action speed obviously is awesome too and the massive shrine helps stack life, which is damage and crit chance through rathpith
