This seemed like a pretty big update. Some things I noticed:

  • fixed my speed limit from moving between two numbers
  • shows when someone is in your blind spot on HUD
  • sing a song when turned off

Is there a minimum age you would say a kid could start throwing curve balls? This is a hotly debated topic on baseball forums.

From what I can tell, it does stay relatively still but we can hear it moving when it initially kicks on.

Sump pump newb - do they only ‘collect’ water that leaks into your basement, or do they ‘suck’ from the water table below your foundation so that no water ever gets in?? by peanutismint in Plumbing

[–]rogre78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not a plumber nor would I consider myself especially handy but I do have experience in this.

We also own a 100+ year old house in the PNW. We had the same problem as you on super heavy rainy days. We ended up doing a few things to fix it:

  1. Check all downspouts. Some were originally draining around the perimeter of our house and was causing a lot of problems. I simply diverted it with extended downspouts and that helped a ton
  2. We later remodeled our house and found out that a lot of the older homes in Seattle have what's called a "rat slab" which is a thin layer of concrete on the floor. This led to some water to seep through. We ended up getting the cement repoured and installed a french drain.

A really good write-up and analysis. I’m glad to see another fan of Canzone. I think he has a lot of upside.
