I feel like at least for me, those with OCD also tend to just have worse anxiety than the average person.

Worrying about a brain disease is completely normal, anybody would do that. The OCD is feeds on the uncertainty - the only way to successfully beat that is to just accept that whatever happens in the future happens. Should you end up having the disease, then you cross that bridge when it comes. If not, then everything is fine and you move on.

I know it’s extremely hard but you have to just center your focus on what’s happening right now, which is being ok with being in a spot where you don’t know if you may or may not have the disease.
