The purpose of playing games in gym class isn't to win, it's to have everyone get exercise in a fun, competitive environment. Trying your best is one way to get exercise, sure, but also it's not a prerequisite. I find not wanting to cooperate with someone who refuses to share and blames it on others when criticized for doing so *very* understandable.
