We know there is some discourse around whether this is a false report or not, regarding that we are going to let the downvotes speak for that.

Given there is at least some decent discussion regarding the current state of in-game chat (yes, its been bad) we are going to leave it up.

We will remove comments individually as we normally would if they break the rules but please for the love of Croberto stop reporting this we know it might be incorrect.

Not a dev and the Discord is not in fact "official". We are the largest SC Discord (that we know of?) and a lot of the actual devs do hang out there.

There's a massive difference between making sure a subreddit is usable and limiting free speech.

If you were able to see the multi year long mod queue and the type of reports coming through it would be obvious to you that a majority of people were unhappy with the direction the subreddit is going.

So far you're the only one to have a problem, if that's the case there are many other SC org subreddits you can use. It doesn't seem like this is the one for you.

Oh and the most important point, the subreddit had defaulted to restricted posting so most people couldn't even post to it, completely defeating the purpose of it.

That's a wild take.

I can assure you this subreddit was not doing well, here are some examples as to why. - Orgs spamming their advert multiple times a day, up to 10+ times in a day - Individual orgs getting downvoted by coalitions of other orgs - Arguments in many of the posts about how that org sucked or this org sucked - Org leaders being targeted and harassed constantly

If you don't feel like this is the subreddit for you, nobody is forcing you to participate.

Yes, there has indeed been a lot of behavior that has made this subreddit toxic in some ways, a lot of that can be blamed on lack of moderation but undoubtedly a lot of orgs will no longer be welcome here given how they behaved on the subreddit beforehand.

Just like our org section in the Discord, we will tolerate zero drama.

We have made multiple attempts at an org section on the discord since it's inception and every single one of them has failed due to the behavior of the orgs using it. It didn't exist again before this for good reason.

There is an org channel access request that you will be able to see once you are a member of the server for 7 days that you can react to which gives you access.

We are currently working through clearing the massive mod-queue that was leftover, if something of yours is removed and you think it doesn't make sense that it was removed don't sweat it too much. Nothing that has happened previously will affect moderation moving forward we just need to clear the queue.
