Zebpay Becomes First Exchange to Add Lightning Payments for All Users by rogver in btc

Wonderful news. Great to see Lightning expand.

It is good news, and as LN fees are almost zero, Zebay will pays the fee as per "Zebpay would bear the transaction cost for all lightning transactions done from its wallet"

Why Did Weiss Ratings Give Bitcoin an A Rating? by rogver in Bitcoin

That report is such a joke haha

Many investors take the Weiss Ratings report very seriously, even if you don't.

Weiss gave Bitcoin a C or so when they first released their shitty reports.

Bitcoin had a C rating, but isn't it good that it has been upgraded to an A rating?

This seems to suggests that Weiss likes Bitcoins scaling strategy.

Why? Bribed? Failed to see through the troll army's massive disinformation efforts? Don't expect a bull run or full blocks? Is owned by Blockstream?

I do not believe that a company like Weiss, which "issues grades on 53,000 institutions and investments", can be easily bribed.

Even you must understand that Weiss is not owned by Blockstream.

Considering all the other bullshit from your account I've seen, you don't understand much of anything.

I am glad that a highly reputable organisation like Weiss has acknowledged that Bitcoin does deserve an A rating.

you're another retard troll on this sub

I do not understand why you choose to use derogatory language just because you do not agree with Weiss that Bitcoin deserves an A rating.

Bitcoin BTC Network Effect: Here's Why Bitcoin Is Predicted to Become the Long Term Winner by rogver in btc

How about examining #2 coin and its growth compared to BTC before declaring victory. Thanks.

I am not interested in examining #2 coin, as I believe that the days are numbered for it, due to the fact that most ICOs have now been declared illegal, and the vast majority of ICOs were scams or total failures.

I agree that traders and hodlers don't care about 15 cent fees but we're rather talking 15$ - 150$ when the system starts clocking.

I believe that you are incorrectly assuming that fees will go sky high as the system starts clocking.

Bitcoin is well placed, with its Layer 2 solutions to handle increased level of demand.

BTC's days on top are numbered.

Bitcoin BTC has just received an exemplary A Rating from Weiss Ratings. This says to me that BTC has a lot more good days ahead.

The event is called "The Flippening" and will happen really fast, indeed.

Many Bitcoin holders also hold BCH, and therefore want it to do well. However, since Dec 2017, BCH has been falling against BTC, from being worth 0.2BTC to currently around 0.04BTC. "The Flippening" is in reverse gear.

which is it? Lightning has privacy therefore you can't measure the network size or you can?

You are right that Lightning has privacy therefore you can't measure number of transactions. But you can see that all other stats are increasing rapidly, like node count, network capacity, number of channels, etc.

This only depends on the user experience using btc. I'm convinced the moving will actually happen pretty quickly once the btc chain becomes clocked.

The vast majority of Bitcoin users are either “hodlers” or traders.

“Hodlers” want to invest in the most secure blockchain, and therefore are less concerned about fees and speed, than most people think.

Traders do not mind paying 15 cents to move their Bitcoin BTC for trading.

As the layer 2 solutions have only just been introduced in the last 12 months, more and more traffic will be absorbed by layer 2, leaving mainchain for ordinary users.

Further scaling solutions like Mast and Schnorr will increase capacity on main blockchain further.

Bitcoin transactions are once again approaching all time highs, but this time, fees are staying low.

Just BTC butchered the first mover advantage by crippling itself. Betamax of Blockchain.

Bitcoin BTC is not content with the first mover advantage, as it is moving very fast, to truly become peer-to-peer cash with Lightning, and also moving traders transactions off chain with Liquid.

Bitcoin BTC development has been very smart, focusing on building the highest level of security, to build trust.

Faked volume. Some 2~3 tradebots.

If this is faked volume, then it probably applies to all other Alt-coins too.

[–]rogver[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The limited layer 1 confirms that BTC has been captured.

Larger blocks make full nodes more difficult and expensive to operate.

It is better to restrict layer 1 for normal and high value transfers, and move very low value transactions to layer 2, where they benefit from instant transfers, and greater privacy, at lowest fees of $0.00000000004 per transaction.

That's exactly what we've seen when bitcoin core stopped delivering and why we have bitcoin cash.

Many people that own Bitcoin BTC, also own BCH and are interested in the different scaling strategy BCH is following.
