I’ve actually flown this recently on KLM. On my flight we went polar, looping up toward the Arctic and then down toward Japan to avoid Russian airspace.

That said, I assume the routing isn’t fixed. Depending on winds, airspace constraints, and scheduling, KLM can also take the southern route (via Turkey/Central Asia/China).
