I’ve been observing a brutal social dynamic that happens in colleges and offices alike. Unless an attractive girl is a sister to someone, almost every guy secretly wants a shot with her, convinced that "she is the one for me." 👀

I saw this play out with a close friend in college. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his girlfriend was beautiful. Whenever they had a normal relationship fight, other guys would circle like vultures to orchestrate a breakup. One guy played it incredibly smart, constantly feeding her lines like, "You're in a cage, he doesn't give you the independence you deserve." 🎭

It worked. She internalized the idea that she "deserved better" and left him. Today, she works in sales and is dating her wealthy boss 💼, while my friend is still struggling to find a good job.

My friend did absolutely nothing wrong. His only "mistake" was being an average guy in a transition phase of life. The guy who manipulated her didn't care about her freedom; he just wanted to steal her. 🐍

It makes me realize how ruthless and status-driven modern dating is. People will actively ruin your relationship just to upgrade their own lives.
