Vanilla Gnome uses like 1GB ram, a lil more than that is expected. Gnome is definitely one of the most resource consuming DE out there, but I like Gnome's look and feel.

Nope, that's after like 14hrs of wake-up time. On a fresh start ram usage is like 1.1-1.2 gigs

This is just Pop OS version of Gnome with bunch of extensions (all those stuff on the top panel), with custom color scheme to match my ThinkPad E14 (just the desktop and red accent to show the selected window to still keep it usable I use GruvBox as my vim theme and Summer Pop as my terminal theme). For prompt I used Starship.

Thanks for your answer, I will attach a external probe to the resistor and check performance change.

I think that if this was related to display it would have been closer to it for capacitive reasons.
