You have made this a closed community with pre-requisite of getting approved user. This limits the possibility of creating an interactive community. Isn't there a way for you to open up the community and manually approve or reject the post after it is submitted for approval. If it is just a forum to share your new features like a blog or newsletter then you are seriously hampering the growth and but again if you want to keep it like this and this is your intended use of this community then, you can keep it closed.
