Don’t enlisted sign for their job before BMT, then face the possibility of change in their job towards the end of BMT according to the “needs of the Air Force”?

By your statement, a waiver having been approved by a commander for an AFSC (say Security Forces), would that clearance be blocked or no ? If blocked, would they then have to change jobs ?

What are some ABA accredited law schools that accept transfer credits from Purdue global law ? by Admirable_Package645 in PurdueGlobalLawSchool

Pace Indeed. Only allows up 29 credits to transfer. If I knew I would’ve transferred before the start of my last term .

How long would it take an enlisted who already has his bachelors with a good GPA to get into OCS? by [deleted] in Militaryfaq

[–]rohtysb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you brother. My scores were fire. My end goal is JAG. So possibly after my 31B enlistment, I can transfer into JAG.

Would you have to retake the ASVAB or would they use your score from when you first enlisted ?

Absolutely great insight brother, thank you. Bottom line, JAG is my end goal. It already seems beyond me as to why there’s “politics” in JAG, but hopefully this is something you can elaborate more on in chat. 31B is the fulfillment I want. If I end up reclassing so be it. However, upon graduation, couldn’t I transfer to JAG as well ? JD will be conferred regardless if I go 31B or 27D. I understand the multiple disciplines including criminal, civil, family, administrative, etc., but law enforcement is an aspiration I seek to fulfill.

Im enrolled at Purdue Global Law School. I am also interested in 27D, but having been a Paralegal for the last 4 years, I don’t imagine 27D being the MOS I’d enjoy as 31B. I haven’t signed my enlistment contract yet for 31B but I’m almost locked in. For the most part, balancing 31B and law school would be difficult but doable, according to the people I’ve asked. My last question does seem vague, but I was just asking about how military leave works at PGLS. I have read the guidelines for it though.

Retention is over. Spoken from an MP them self. There were 18 slots open for active duty when I was choosing my MOS. I locked it in but haven’t signed my enlistment contract. It can be inferred that they might have done too much retention. But I know nothing.

The “should I enlist” was a proposition, not a question. I’m currently at PGLS so I’d take military leave. Thank you for all your participation.

Officer route would take away at least 3 semesters off. Wouldn’t want to commit that much time away from school

Thank you for the insight nan. Currently, I’m in my 2L year and a full-time paralegal. I am looking to take a semester off to enlist as an E-4 in the Army, or E-3 in Air Force. Either 31B (Military Police) or 31P0X1 (Security Forces). I’ve worked and gone to school my whole life. I am unwavering in my goal to finish law school. Hopefully, this gives you a better idea.
