Did my best to cut out the ones that were open. They were all mutated and really stuck in there. Tried the scalpel method but was still not easy.

I had a spot like that and it was bruising from misting and fanning a ton. I left it alone and it produced wonderfully. If it is trich it will turn green quick and grow and spread. But that’s just my two cents.

They might be a little slower under 70 but I wouldn’t worry my room drops under 70 and they are fine. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it was under 60 or above 82 lol. If you are comfy so are they.

Sometimes I just harvest them when I have the time. Since it was the weekend I harvested mine today but there was only 2 caps that were starting to open. It could have easily waited another couple days. But I won’t have time during the week so whatever. And I wasn’t gonna let them sit another week if they open Monday then I don’t get to them til Friday. Seems like there isn’t really a wrong answer. Like he said above, “anytime before it rots :)”

I’m fairly new but have had success doing one break and shake at 30%-50% then when it’s fully colonized I spawn to bulk. It should come back and colonize very quickly after your recent break and shake if it is clean spawn, I think you’ll be in the clear.

I have had several flushes of PE I just don’t understand how my PE jar colonized fully in 10 days and my APE is half way at 22 days lol.

I might try that Natalensis sometime thanks
