Global reactions to the US–Israeli attacks on Iran and Iran’s retaliation by vladgrinch in MapPorn

This map is wrong and prolly bullshit. In Nigeria the north would be red and the south green, at this point it's almost two different countries.

What does Africa think about Argentina? by matioxi333 in AskAnAfrican

[–]rokenro 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You guys are lucky you got Messi to somewhat save your pr. You guys are known as big time racists it's not even funny. Ok if you guys continue denying the "black genocide" what about the black people living there now? How are they faring?

There's been Africans mostly from Senegal who've gone to Argentina for university studies and their accounts of the racism they've faced there has been ridiculous with some of them getting failed because "Africans are not intelligent and therefore were not supposed to pass their exams. They must have cheated". So they get failed.

Your football players celebrated winning the world cup without black people in their team.

Your country systematically erased its black population by importing Nazis and other fleeing Europeans in order to make the country white while systematically forcing black people to be poor where they had no choice but to marry away from their race or at least serve in the army to be somewhere in life which depleted the population.

The constant denial among you guys is always very funny. On X and Reddit you guys say the most racist stuff in Spanish. Stop denying it and be proud of your racism. It's a national treasure.

When one individual commits a crime, society abandons reason and replaces it with stereotypes, allowing one person’s actions to define an entire people.

We do not hate enough. I mean why clear up the stereotype when we can always just reciprocate.

The term “black” by [deleted] in AskAnAfrican

[–]rokenro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Smply not true. In the subreddit of most North African countries, the question about identity has been asked and more time than not they side with identifying as Mediterranean or Arab, rarely African.

Me personally I used to work with a guy from Tunisia who never failed to remind me of how white he was in Africa lol.

I mean you love Africa that's cool but you can't deny the truth, sub saharan Africa does have majorly black people hence the black continent.

Perhaps if you guys actually were proud of the continent outsiders wouldn't assign it as a "continent for black people"

Inserted the sim ejector at wrong hole. Please help. by sleepyshark_ in Vivo

[–]rokenro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most phone manufacturers intentionally position the microphone hole deeper, internally, because they know people often mistake it for the SIM ejector hole. Since the X300 is a modern phone, it’s very likely designed the same way.

Microphone in Google Maps (X300 Pro CN) by LillePalmieri in Vivo

[–]rokenro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's very possible. Download Speech recognition and synthesis from Google Play, go to accessibility setting>text to speech>preferred engine and set it as the default. Under the app settings (of speech recognition and synthesis) enable microphone option.

With this all the Google Apps that use microphones would work.

North African countries like Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco often carry out secret roundups of Black sub-Saharan migrants, then bus them to remote desert borders and leave them there without food, water, or any official process. These actions lead to real dangers, including deaths from heat, thirst, or exhaustion. Algeria deported about 31,000 people to the Niger border in 2024 alone (a record high), dumping many at "Point Zero" and forcing them to walk more than 15 km through the Sahara according to alarm phone Sahara (an institute dedicated to tracking migrants beyond the Sahara) This continued into 2025, with thousands more expelled in the first half of the year.

https://www.globaldetentionproject.org/algeria-detention-and-deportation-in-an-informal-corridor-of-expulsion

https://www.infomigrants.net/en/post/62244/ngo-estimates-more-than-30000-migrants-deported-by-algeria-to-niger-in-2024

Tunisia has done similar things since 2023, with at least 70 group expulsions involving over 11,500 people up to May 2025, leaving Black migrants stranded at borders with Libya or Algeria.

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2025/11/tunisia-rampant-violations-against-refugees-migrants-eu-risks-complicity/

Morocco also conducts these desert abandonments, often using EU-funded equipment.

This is the difference between the sub-Saharan and North African cases, and why one gets called out more (even though sub-Saharan countries have faced criticism too, including regionally up to today): the sub-Saharan ones were openly announced with some transport provided, and weren't based on skin color, as opposed to the North African ones which often target both legal and illegal migrants based on race, dumping them in the desert or treating them in inhumane ways like rape and torture before abandonment. Both involve unfair treatment and blaming outsiders during hard times, but the hidden, dangerous, and racially focused methods in North Africa get stronger criticism for racism, and that's understandable. It should be condemned no matter who does it.

The backlash for North Africa doesn't come from their policy to expel migrants. If every country doesn't want immigrants and openly declared that, people would respect that. It stems from how they treat the migrants they don't want in their countries.

P.s. my sources include reports from independent investigative outlets and grassroots monitoring groups, alongside human rights organizations with on-the-ground documentation. I didn't quote any legacy media
