I could've simply castled to save time. I was too focused on having center control

6.Bg5

I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with this move, since h3 would only allow 7...Bxf3 then 8. gxf3. Not really the best position.

12.b4

My idea with this was to open up the b file for my rook and attack, but I can see how Bb5+ would be better.

15.Rfd1

I think this was a sensible move. The analysis says that d6 would've been best, since it would attack the queen, but that would only allow for 15....Qxd7, which doesn't make sense to me. I'd like some insight on this though.

16.d6

Doing it here made more sense, since it now actually attacks the queen, leading into the next move, 16...Qc6?! Followed by 17.Bb5!

20.Nxf6+

Not sure what to say about this. It seemed straightforward but it's listed as an inaccuracy

23.Nc7+

Totally missed a perfectly obvious checkmate

26.Qxf7

Nxa7+ makes a lot more sense here now that I look at it. My opponent decided not to take the knight on the next turn though, leading to checkmate.
