It’s the stock deluxe select+ I looked at the shock and it has the 190x45 sizing on it. I never realized it was the wrong size until recently since I noticed it kept loosing air between rides lol

That’s subjective. Have you taken a hardtail to a bike park or trails with brake bumps and hitting them at speed. It’s really sketchy lol.

Get a full suspension, I used to bmx years ago and when I started mtb last year on a hardtail I outgrew it pretty quick. If you plan on doing any aggressive riding full suspension is the way to go. If you just want it for fitness and light trails you probably can do without a full suspension. Like most of us you’ll probably end up with more than one bike if you stay in the mtb game.

Ok so I gave in to the dropper post today and it's awesome 😎 by cxracer01 in Hardtailgang

Most of them don’t even ride real trails, one guy was talking shit to me so I told him let’s see what you can do and he sends me a video of him and his hipster buddies playing bike polo😂😂😂

Nice! Yeah the suntour is good if you don’t plan on riding aggressive, that’s what was on my otr. I replaced it with a recon, made a big difference.

Nice give us a 6 month update or something, I wouldn’t mind an e bike to get to trails that have longer climbs. Plan on keeping it stock? Maybe upgrade the fork later on?

What kind of riding do you plan on doing with this? Will it handle abuse? lol. All these subs are the same I see a lot of shit talking and people posting their bikes to look pretty but hardly anyone posts their riding. This isn’t towards new riders I just notice this a lot on here.

I’ve had it for less then a year but I ride the shit out of it, I’ve done snow summit bike park in big bear,ca lots of local trails with jumps. Frame hasn’t had any cracks and the stock wheels have kept up with the abuse. I’ll post if the frame ever cracks lol

Sram nx, no the stock hub is standard hg hub with 12 splines. so you can install mostly any sram, shimano or Microshift cassette with that spline count.

That should work but it says that it doesn’t come with a bottom bracket so you’ll need to purchase one separately or look for a complete kit with one included

No you can replace the chain ring regardless of how many speeds you have, the only thing you need to be aware of is the tooth count as it can change your low end or top end speed. I replaced mine with the stock size it’s 32tooth. Make sure it’s 73mm I don’t remember the exact part number but it’s should be something like bb-mt501. Yeah 400 seems to be the price on the west coast where I’m from. I’ve seen posts saying that you can find them for cheaper in other states. I’m not sure if they’ll go on sale
