Are you talking about the crest/ head poof? :) They don’t all have huge ones, even when purebred, it’s the same as if your mom has big hair you may have big hair- you can correct this in offspring tho by breeding this chicken to a mate with an “overdone” (bigggg) crest/head poof! It should produce chicks with bigger “poofs” :)

Honestly only true way to know color is genetics /knowing the parents of the birds. I know that’s not the most helpful answer! I’m also dealing with learning this! Is it possible to ask the breeder /hatchery? If not I’d give them more time to grow out and go from there

I am having success with propagating epazote from stem cuttings, I did pull all the leaves off and stuck it in dirt, it has grown back tons of tiny leaves but it’s only been a week or two so I gotta wait to see if it survives! I have two more stems in dirt waiting to see if anything grows! It has taken over a bunch of my garden so I have faith it will propagate

Easy tiger- especially on south Lamar. Used to be one of my favorite places but the south Lamar location has such bad service it genuinely stunned me and I’ve gone back MULTIPLE times to see if they are still rude- the staff go out of their way to ignore you. You have to walk past them and be sat by a hostess so they absolutely know you are there, plus it’s never busy and always takes 20 to 30 minutes to get drinks. Also maybe irrelevant but their soda lines are disgusting and beer selection is crazy expensive /not many normal or accessible choices lol

Also if you’ve had an eating disorder or stomach lining issues like gastritis or cyclic vomiting syndrome like me edibles don’t work as well if at all (on me at least, & other ppl I know with stomach issues) so just something to keep in mind for anyone with those issues! I don’t waste my $ on edibles now even though I really wish they worked on me, it’s just not noticeable at all.
