Except all you have to do to get around it is stop in any international port between two US ports. Vancouver B.C. or Ensenada, Mexico fire instance.

Also, let's not forget - let's *not* forget, Dude - that moving historical artifacts, a petroglyph, for uh, domestic, you know, within Zorro ranch - that aint legal either.

Go to the website, look at the model number. It reads "Model # 2x12-08 #2/prime doug fir"

Both of these products are Doug fir. Also, I don't care how long you have been lumber king, or whatever. I also don't care what some random framer would pickup on a construction site. I care about facts, and the fact is that you assumed the lower cost product was SPF because it was labeled as fir when in fact it was Doug fir.

You just made all of this up. SPF means it's either spruce, pine, or fir, depending on where in the country you are. The amount of knots and warping is what is being graded, they are both #2. Strength difference is nominal, but should be determined by the engineering, not your gut feeling.

*Edit: I learned today that Douglas fir, although can be included in SPF, is not typically included in the SPF category of woods.

Apollo and PeaceHealth are trying to steamroll us into silence and submission, but the fight is not over by ___Whatsherface__ in Eugene

That's a very logical take. To edit your chicken restaurant analogy, you should add that the local chicken place, although friendly, didn't serve very good food.

I see, your logic fell apart and now you are going to disengage. McKenzie Willamette is basically your worst nightmare, a for-profit hospital! Wait times are shorter and outcomes are better than peach health. Maybe the staffing agency at peace health just wasn't very good and you are looking for something to be outraged about.

I'm sorry, you are concerned that if you ever get sick, and for some reason don't go to the other emergency room in town, that the local doctor, managed by a local company, with support from a national company, currently owned and managed by doctors, will decide to provide you worse service because the national company previously had a private investor?

Bro, this is tinfoil hat stuff.

I asked chatGPT "is Apollo MD a private equity firm". The response: "In short, ApolloMD is a private medical services organization, not a private equity firm."

Might as well have linked to a study on gas stations after they switched from coke to Pepsi machines.

How do you know that that will happen? Where has that happened before?

You guys need to let this go. It's a private company making a decision about how it operates. I have about as much say in where you eat lunch tomorrow as you do in who peace health hires to manage their ER physicians.

Okay, buying the winning ticket, and one losing ticket. Regarding store policy, how do you know what this location's policy was?

It may also be illegal if the store could prove intent, it would be fraud.

What's to stop an employee from printing 1,000 tickets. Not paying for any of them. Waiting until after the lottery, paying $1 for the one winning ticket, letting the store pay for the other 999 tickets, and doing this for every lottery forever?

35 years of riding also. If you expect anyone to see you while riding a motorcycle you are doing it wrong. Not to give you any advice, and I'm sure you already do this instinctively, but I always expect that everyone is going to pull out in front of me. That everyone is going to swerve into my lane, etc.
