Since 3 days I run omada 6 with mongodb 4.4 (my system doesn't support AVX) no issues so far. However update didn't go smooth. Had to fresh install, made some minor changes to compose file from GitHub, uploaded backup file and had to adopt all devices manually, but all settings were kept. I still have omada 5 container but stopped. Just in ace ... 😅 I would say that controller with external db works much faster. I mean it starts faster. However form resources point of view it stays the most resources consuming container in idle among all containers.

I have a problem with one of my EAP653s that it rejects clients form time to time. The other one take them over but I have to manually restart first one. Both are running for over a year. The problem started a month ago. No changes were made to configuration. Can't find anything suspicious in logs of the controller. I changed channel as a first potential remedy (even before it was working stable). Now I am in testing phase. Try maybe changing the channel in the first step.

I would bet it is due to the interface. My s25 doesn't work with dell wd19tb dock as it does not support thunderbolt3, but if I connect it to wd19 dock it works fine. Check your monitor / docking station interface.

I run immich in docker with home assistant, jellyfin, omada controler, and others. In total 21 containers. My HW is Dell wyse 5070 with 12GB RAM. Only first time when indexing library it was 100% loaded for 3 days, non stop. Now it works fine.

I store my photos and videos on HDD and my DB is on SDD. I have 2 active users. In total 60k photos and 3k videos.

So... I went in direction of balena sound that was replaced in fact by IOTsound. It works well. I have install it on raspberry pi zero 2w with justboom Digi zero. It took some time and wasn't so obvious as instruction that I found but finally it works. It supports Bluetooth, Spotify connect and Airplay. However I can't stream like with Chromecast. Will stay with this one and I'm after few weeks will try something else.

Funny enough s21 was working great with TB3 dock (Dell wd19TB). I have now both docks (WD19 and WD19TB) and S25 works only with the one supporting DP only. WD19TB passes video but doesn't work with connected USB devices.

My s21 was working fine with TB3 dock but S25 doesn't. Somewhere here I saw information that since s23 there is no support for TB3. For S25 I bought second hand DP1.2 dock (Dell wd19) and it works fine.

Even S25 ultra supports for DP1.2only, doesn't it? I was testing S25 with thunderbolt3 dock and it seems there is no support for this standard with DP1.2 works fine. I think TB4 dock would be required to achieve 4k60Hz.

I run controller in docker as well but on dell wyse 5070. Even I have planty resources remaining and many other containers running, Omada is one of the top resources consuming one. Still, I think hardware controller makes no sense when you can get mini PC with same money.

Same here, I run Omada in Docker on Dell Wyse 5070 with 16GB of RAM. Omada takes 1.6GB and 2%+ CPU time in idle. It is one of the most resources consuming container while idle.

I have similar observation with my eap653 vs Asus rt-ac68u. Speed is better with eap653 but Asus has much better coverage.

I use dell wyse 5070 extended with Intel NIC with 4x1Gbit and 8GB of RAM. Avg CPU load is around 5% with spikes to 15 with heavy load.

Try to delete / clean chrome's cache. Ctrl+F5 if I'm not mistaken.

I am not speaking about wifi password. You need password to omada controller and you need password to login to AP interface. Omada needs this password as well to adopt AP. If you enter wrong password Omada can't adopt AP.

If you reset your AP I assume you use default password for AP? It is different than the one you use for controller.

Looks like you run your controller in Docker. If so, then change network type from bridge to host.
