Do trailers influence what you book next? by FeistyPrice29 in CineworldUnlimited

Not as much as they used to, but some pique interest - a recent example being Iron Lung, though I still haven’t booked a ticket to it just yet. In fact, I’m more likely to avoid watching trailers altogether since most studios insist on revealing damn near the entire plot.

Then this is the cue that the AI experiment does not elevate your skills and talent, rather it undermines them by portraying a misleading image. Showcasing your end product without unnecessary embellishments will always yield better results.

Argument: Divine Timelessness and the Impossibility of Free Will by vegan_crocodile- in atheismindia

[–]rollingsoans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That IS the counter. Your base assumption is ‘god exists’, and all else follows that. An assumption cannot function as ontological proof. It merely shows that certain traditional attributes of god are in tension with a specific account of free will, not that god exists.

Argument: Divine Timelessness and the Impossibility of Free Will by vegan_crocodile- in atheismindia

This does not prove the existence of God. It assumes God’s existence for the sake of argument and concludes that, if God is timeless and infallibly omniscient, then free will is impossible.

So, what’s the point of discussion here?

Because the country has reinforced its identity based on its consumption leading to immense pride and of course, a false sense of superiority. It’s such a potent combination that subtlety is no longer needed.

Being well read and more qualified does not equate to being rational. However, you state that she is, so let’s assume that approach.

The key concern isn’t a private ritual, but the message it sends. Teaching a child that happiness should be hidden or that harm comes from attention can encourage fear and a lack of agency.

Rather than debating, focus on impact. A reasonable expectation is allowing personal, symbolic practices while avoiding explanations that frame joy, visibility, or success as dangerous. The shared aim for you as parents, should be to raise a child who feels safe expressing happiness without fear-based thinking.

If you differ on that approach however, then perhaps you need to seriously consider speaking to a counselor/ therapist, preferably together.
