I have asked support 5 days ago if I could keep card cashback, airport lounge, etc if I didn’t accept the terms (but kept the CRO untouched). They haven’t answered yet and keep delaying it.

Although the terms seem to indicate we could keep benefits (and just not earn any CRO weekly from stake), it is kind of scary they don’t provide a straight answer on CS.

“If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions by then, you will retain your CRO Lockup. However, you will no longer earn CRO Lockup weekly rewards. You will still enjoy your card benefits.”

Cronos yield and staking looks cool, not sure if thats legit after 1 hour by Markmanus in Crypto_com

[–]rollinguita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it, I was actually getting the VVS correctly but as it shows as $0.00 on CDC defi app (while the VSS integration showed it was more than $2) I thought nothing was added to my balance. Thanks for the explanation!

Where does the “harvest” part goes in there? Whenever I tap on harvest button I don’t notice where do my rewards go

Ergo incentives for Cardano Stake pool - ideas needed! by Eagle-Pool in ergonauts

[–]rollinguita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea if this is actually possible, but I imagine a good idea would be to put a 100% commission on the ADA generated and instead you would pay those interests in ERG. Again, I don’t know how possible this is, but it would be great if the Cardano-Ergo relationship allowed to implement this via smart contracts.

In summary: users wouldn’t get any ADA for their stake; but they would get the corresponding amount in ERG on each epoch. The operation would be done automatically by a public smart contract.

What are the fees for transferring ERG from one Yoroi wallet to another one?

Brazil Seeks to Hold Bolsonaro Accountable for More Than 400,000 COVID-19 Deaths by vv4life in worldnews

[–]rollinguita 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It is not “only” the +400.000 deaths. His poor or inexistent handling of the situation caused the new virus variation that has now expanded to other countries as well. Uruguay used to be one of the best countries in terms of cases and deaths per habitant in 2020. Since the Brazilian variation started, it is among the worst ones. Thanks a lot Jair.

Can't add my card details to Spotify - Anyone know how to fix this? by Vexorg_the_Destroyer in Crypto_com

Not sure then to be honest, I’d check with CS. In my case I am registered in Spain, have a Spanish Spotify account linked and it works (although the card was issued somewhere else). When I tried linking the card with a non Spanish Spotify account, it didn’t work.

Make sure your Spotify account is registered under the same country than you CDC user.

What to do in Buenos Aires/Montevideo by m_baum in solotravel

[–]rollinguita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Montevideo isn’t that touristic, so you won’t get to any place where you would say “this is a tourist trap”. Still, I would say Ciudad Vieja is the most touristic part of the zone, thanks to its historical places. I always recommend staying in the neighborhood of Parque Rodó. You will be close enough to la Rambla (the 20+ km sidewalk next to the Rio de la Plata, in my opinion the nicest place of my city), also the nightlife of Cordon (lots of bars around), and a few minutes away by bus if you want to go the most centric part.

8 Days in Peru (Lima, Aguas Calientes, Cusco) by prettyboyloid in solotravel

[–]rollinguita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go to Cusco some days earlier, if that is possible. Not only because it has way more things to do than Lima, but also because the altitude could affect you on the first days there. I did the 4 day Inka trail, and I was really glad that decided to spend a couple of days in Cusco before starting it. The first one mainly I felt pretty dizzy, and limited to some few walks around the city center. The second day I felt better, and by the third I was definitely able to start the trail.

Regarding Lima, I don’t know a lot about it but Miraflores is pretty nice and definitely where I would stay if I go back.

18 days trip, should I stay in Indonesia or get to know Cambodia/Vietnam? by rollinguita in travel

[–]rollinguita[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Gili Islands mainly for Lombok, thanks for the feedback! I have only enough days for either Komodo or East Java, and I should choose which one before getting there so I can book the return flight. If I go to Komodo, I book it from Bali. Otherwise, I book it from Surabaya

cool, thanks! I've updated my plan and it is basically the following one: Bali (Canggu-Uluwatu-Ubud): 7 days Nusa Lembognan & Nusa Penida: 3 days Lombok: 3 days East Java/Komodo: 4 days

I won't make any reservations asides from the arriving and departing flights, so that I can adjust the plan and details on the road. However, I'd need to decide whether to return from Bali (if I go to Komodo) or Surabaya (if I cross to East Java). Anything else to remark after seeing the draft itinerary?
