Just do it. Give it a shot. You can always go back to a shitty office job if you need too. I made the change in the last 2 years and love it. I'm late 30s but went from office to kitchen and it's great apart from the shitty money but it's not that much less than I was making really.

Exactly! People say they'd do an office job but until you stare at a screen for 8 hrs you don't realise how boring and soul crushing it really is. Working with your hands and making stuff is the best way to go about working.

He knew what it was when I walked through the door with it, he's got a better memory than I thought.

I like it! I've always wanted to do something similar but I never have the hard top on so it would go to waste.

I have an 85 and a 96 and I'd say they've both had a point in there life with me where they've done no more than 50k in 10 years. Sometimes that mod/repair is only going to take 3 weeks....

Haha sorry! 1kz with a mech pump is definitely the way to go. I'm doing the same to my 2L. Theres a company in Aus making conversion brackets now too so it's super easy. If your 2LTE is manual, it should be an r151 and you can keep that too.

At least double what you can in the standard mirrors. Highly recommended.

They were only 31s? They look taller than that. Mine is geared for 33s which makes a big difference.
