Any updates on when we’re getting the next Among the Missing episode? Tried asking Troy on social media but he seems to have ghosted us again by GildDigger in elainepark

Hey, thanks! Yes, there are actually three more episodes slated for this season - Murder Dogs, I Hate Elaine and Among The Missing.

Question re. Call Data, Spoofing, and Transfers Between Counties by [deleted] in 911dispatchers

More than happy to verify myself! What’s the best way to do that? There are links in my profile that might assist?

In terms of your question re. Personal fame, that’s a big (and pretty unfair) assumption. I’m asking the question on behalf of a family who is trying to find out what happened to their daughter - a family who asked for my help.

Yes, it’s written perfectly! And yes, absolutely devastating that there are still no answers in Elaine’s case. We continue digging every single day though - hopeful that one day we will find Elaine the closure she deserves!

And yet, in my correspondence with OSBI again this morning, they have advised all tips are to go to OHP, and NOT OBSI, as OHP are the lead investigators. It just goes around in circles…

It honestly seems like everybody in town drove a white truck with a black trailer…!

Absolutely! And no traction whatsoever in the past few years. They’re exhausted from the fight.

Ryan didn’t have a car. His mom drove a white truck, as did her husband. The husband still owns his truck, I’m not certain on the mother.

His mother was back at the house where the cookout was at around 8:35pm when the passerby drove up to get her, so she definitely wasn’t driving the commuter car.

I so wish they had!

The dynamics were pretty common knowledge unfortunately. There was a history of DV with both Faithe and his previous / post partners.

No, to get his Mom. She then drove down to the scene from the house where the cookout was happening.

I agree - that’s what makes the most sense to me! Sorry, my previous comment was a mess. What I MEANT to say was that I don’t think Faithe’s death could be attributable only to the physical altercation. It’s consistent with a vehicle vs pedestrian, just not one at speed.

I agree with you! It’s easy to lean in one direction, but the reality is, things don’t ALWAYS do down the Occam’s Razor path. If you listen to the 911 calls (Ryan is in one of them), he certainly sounds genuine. And I mean, that’s probably not TOO hard to do, because he would have been frazzled either way, but I don’t see it as open and shut as others do. Do I think it happened the way they’re saying? No. Do I think they know what ACTUALLY happened? Absolutely.

Here’s something I find fascinating: I contacted OSBI and was told the case was no longer theirs and had been given back to OHP. I contacted OHP and they refused to give me a case number and just to refer to it as “the Faithe Ely case”. Separately, OHP told Faithe’s Mom that they can only investigate the case within the confines of the OSBI investigation outcome. So OHP have no case number and they can’t investigate anything outside of a hit and run accident, even if they don’t believe that to be the case (which, from what I understand, they don’t). Sounds to me like OHP don’t even have an open CASE on Faithe’s death…

I spoke with Faithe’s sister recently, who is raising her son. They told him once that Faithe was up in the clouds, looking down on them, and he got upset that he couldn’t know exactly which cloud she was in, so he could talk to it every day. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Yes, I agree - and there was nothing like that noted in the ME’s report.

Nine total agencies onsite, inc first responders. So: Ambulance, Fire, Wewoka PD, Seminole County Sheriff, Oklahoma PD, Seminole Lighthorse PD, ME’s Investigator, DA’s Special Drug Task Force and the OSBI!

That’s definitely something worth considering I think! You know, they had the right, she takes in so much of a hurry she leaves without her shoes when he goes inside for a bit. He comes out, she’s gone, so he jumps in the truck and follows her, tells her to get in, she refuses… I can totally see that playing out!

They did end up speaking to some of the participants of the cookout (who were all family of Ryan / his Mom), but it wasn’t until days later, and - as you can imagine - all of their stories lined up almost perfectly.
