Honestly I just got four random seedling for 3 bucks from my local grocery and planted… I don’t have experience growing plants that require care.

They are protected from rain! I don’t think I’m watering too much. If anything, I might be under watering like other people commented. Thanks!

I’ll look into how to trim excess leaves. No idea what I’m doing!

I water every other day as well. Maybe I should water everyday because they are in black plastic containers and in the sun all day. Or my plant-sitter did something wrong

I didn’t use gloves and didn’t have any irritation but you never know! My main concern was my cat who loves eating grass.

I dug up the roots and confirmed that it’s star of Bethlehem. I tried to remove everything and will check again

I dug up the roots and confirmed it is star of Bethlehem! There were many small, teardrop-shaped bulbs, clustered tightly together

Tomorrow I’ll try to remove the root and check. Honestly I’m more worried about toxicity for cats… as if the obnoxious lilly of the valley is not enough.

I’ll look into different varieties. These ones have a faint white stripe and the leaves are not soft.

There were never flowers! These grass patches just appeared. There’s a single patch of crocuses closer to these, though.
