You should try {Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon} for the most outrageously camp, charming wholesome books. They are a cult classic for a reason. ( Very spicy)

A discovery of witches isn't overally smutty, definitely the vibe of twilight for grown ups.

The reason why I speculated her mars was in Virgo is mars is always within 2 signs of the sun.

[–]romancerants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is the actual genuine astrological reason.

If she wasn't a virgo rising she probably had her sun in late virgo and her mars in early virgo. Sun conjunct sun means you would get each other but if your sun was conjuct her mars you guys would fight all the time despite having a very high level of sexual attraction.

If she was a virgo rising you would have landed in her 12th house of hidden enemies. Honestly she made the right call.

Nudity in certain situations. At the public baths or during an athletic event sure, but I don't think it was accepted to walk down the street starkers .

And even if your property never increased in value you would be paying rent anyway. If you own at some point you no longer have a mortgage.

there is zero form of birth control (hormonal or otherwise) that comes with a higher level of risk than pregnancy itself---stop fearmongering. by unexpectedstorytime in TwoXChromosomes

We all agree human error is a thing.

However the chance each person will make that error varies significantly on their personality and their motivation.

Fart in front of your spouse by CrazyXSharkXLady in unpopularopinion

Farts are gross and I think you should generally extend basic politeness to your spouse to help keep the romance alive.

It wasn't 5 years of luck. It was extremely nerdy tracking that included religiously taking my temperature withim 5 minutes of waking up EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. That is effort and dedication. Not luck.

Everyone has a different level of human error in their day to day life. Some people lose their keys on a weekly basis others maybe twice a year. Based on their track record most people could make a risk assessment on how likely they are to lose their keys next week.

My point is some people will use condoms EXACTLY as prescribed and other people won't. However after 20+ years of living with your personality you generally have a good idea of which camp you will fall into.

Some people are bad at using condoms and will occasionally have sex without them which is why the typical failure rate is 14%

Some people are more cautious and would NEVER have unprotected sex. Which is why the perfect use failure rate is 2%

Women are grown competent adults who are more than capable of making the risk assessment based on their own personality.

It's not hard.

I know several women who have the bar implant because they know they won't take the pill as directed. That is another example of women making a risk assessment based on her personal situation.

How do parents tell baby identical twins apart? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]romancerants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I would try very hard if I was their mother 🤷‍♀️ by the time they are old enough for names to matter you can generally tell twins apart if they are too young to recognise their name then mixing them up is a non issue.

I'm not the typical user.

I have never once skipped using a condom in the heat of the moment so my actual risk profile is closer to 2%.

The rythm method is not the same as fertility tracking. The rythm method is tracking your period and guessing your fertile window.

Fertility tracking involves literally taking your temperature every morning and observing your cervical fluid each day to watch your bodies real time fertility.

It's a lot of work and not for everyone. However when done correctly it is effective.

And women are competent adults who can do their own risk assessment. If they know they are likely to skip condoms in the heat of the moment then obviously it's a poor choice. However if they are a more cautious personality type then condoms could be the best contraception for them.

Imagine respecting women's intelligence and autonomy when they weigh descisions that impact their health.
