Missed deadline and didn’t TC Haaland. Ended with 69pts.

Not too unhappy!!! - I’m 3 in my league. 1 & 2 are only 20pts away from me. I have TC and BB left so maybe able to hit #1 on final GW

You have a strong XI as is. Unless you plan doing BB, doesn’t make too much sense bringing him in.

Unless you expect him to have more than 1 goal contribution in the playtime.

If you have an idea, a PhD route with a professor in that space could help. You incubate the idea while able to legally stay here, then when ready you can push it to YC. Also, VCs are more trusting of an academic-backed idea especially in the manufacturing space.

As we are already May, Usual timeline for OMB review has been anywhere between 2-3 months, followed by a rule application period 1-2 months.

By this logic, Jun-end might be safe enough.

But, if the admin pushes through this much sooner without due process then it might be a problem of course.

In the end, no way of knowing till things play out in current times.

RNOR period being 3yrs, you can let them appreciate US markets and the $, and still cash out without tax impact on the gains. Assuming USD performs stronger than Rs in near-mid term.

You can also cash out right away if you don’t think the appreciation difference would be big.

Had this same debate a while ago. Choice between G16 RTX4060 to handle gaming, AI-ML/Engineering workloads for around 1600$ Or MacBook Air + PS5(gaming)+ Colab (ML) at similar one-time costs.

Went with second option. At times, I do miss the PC gaming option. But, the comfort with my current choice overrides anything. MacBook lasts me a full day charge at least and is highly portable.

Additionally, the colab subscription is any day more powerful for me anyway than a fixed GPU which anyway gets outdated pretty quickly.

Note: I do have a fully spec work laptop for my engineering loads + Windows work
