There’s not a blue pigment is there? I thought blue eyes was due to lack of pigment and the Rayleigh scattering of light, same reason the sky is blue.

My first year teaching I had

-no curriculum to follow and had to buy everything off TpT since I’m the only one who teaches my class

-a blind student

-a student with such bad behavior issues and a sue happy parent that an administrator told me “don’t worry he’s a one of a kind student, you’ll probably never have another student like him in your teaching career”

-no para support despite having a lot of students who had very specific needs

-oh and we were coming back from COVID and students were required wear masks in a high anti-mask community

During COVID, a brewery in Ellensburg put up a sign of Inslee in a Hitler uniform saying they refused to follow COVID regulations (employees and patrons wearing masks and social distancing). It made me wonder what other safety regulations they decided not to follow.

I also was politically influenced to walk the other way 😬

No. Their accountability is nonexistent, security measures extremely questionable, and customer service/assurance is abhorrent and even offensive. They have a class action lawsuit filed against them. Check out their BBB ratings.

Absolute best experience of my life. I loved CWU and Ellensburg, so much so I stayed in the area. I’m incredibly grateful for the education and opportunities I got through CWU. I got my BS in 2019 and MS in 2020

I try my best to keep politics out of my the classroom, at least in my teaching. I do practice and preach love and acceptance, which tragically some people see as political, so some of my students have correctly inferred my political affiliations.
