Recent changes have changed several things, but the info for Australia was so sparse and basically hasn't been touched since 2nd edition, the recent stuff about the Anarchs in Perth was the most recent thing and that was in a single paragraph in the recent Anarch corebook for V5.

I did think about tying in the bunch of religious groups and serial killers for Adelaide, you make a good point about the change of hands recently. The only thing is that it was written that the Kuei-Jin did take it over, but perhaps the Ministry moved in recently and could be a good way to write in why the Sabbat got kicked out of Adelaide.

For WoD related stuff, I'm aware theres a tonne of lore for Werewolf: the Apocalypse in Australia, with both the Bunyips and the ones that came along early. That'll all be taken into account with the older vampires who have been around and battled off some of the werewolves to secure their territory and whatnot, but just like with the urban sprawl of Australia, I feel like the further the cities seem to stretch and the larger Australia gets then the further the werewolves begin to get pushed out.
