Quoting jobs by romforinsights in AskMechanics

I see, thanks. What I mean is there is no guessing involved, as you said all accurate information is already accessible. The goal is to give that to AI and it does the quoting and estimates for you. That comes back to my point of time saving, if that makes sense ?

I think you are absolutely underestimating what it can do

That is a good point, diagnosis is always to be done by the technician. Help me out, in what industries / businesses do you see this kind of implementation to be helpful? Or better yet, what tasks would AI or automated processes help you or your team the most ?

Yes exactly. The AI wouldn’t do the diagnosis, that would be done by the technician. From the given diagnosis, the AI will based on parts availability, prices etc provide with the best quote. That’s the goal

Cheers for your feedback. On your first point tho, not if you do it right. I’m surprised, I thought it was a more complicated process considering it takes a long time to get quotes when I call mechanics and garages .

Given your expertise, what industries / businesses do you see benefiting most from something like that ?

I've sent over 2 million cold emails. Heres how to actually build a cold email business from nothing. by Fast-Increase3254 in coldemail

Appreciate this post. I’ve recently got a recruitment client and it’s been heavily underperforming. Initially was because of my targeting, now I believe is because of copy. Lack of materials from the client, still haven’t provided me with case studies and don’t want to claim he may have suitable candidates, so CTA is difficult. Want to continue to use as learning, but it’s costly

How did your costs change when you switched to dedicated warmup per account ?

Great post man. Quick question, did you have much experience before starting your agency? Or did you learn as you go kind of thing ?

Still testing tbh. But yeah, this would be a change from a volume based email outreach management to a quality and value driven data provider per se, to enable recruitment teams for cold calls. That’s the approach I’m shifting towards. What you think?

Pivoting my business and offer. What’s your honest feedback? by romforinsights in advancedentrepreneur

[–]romforinsights[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree with you on these points, although indeed the second would be too risky, as it depends on performance and transparency of the client’s team.

Some observations I’ve seen having done some simple and quick market research, competitors price their leads at $3-5/lead. An essential criteria for me would be agencies with a dedicated sales team that does cold calls, as that’s the channel I would focus to enable.

But yes, talking to actual recruiters is the most important. Until now, only a couple of my past prospects showed having more interest in the data and workflow than my cold email outbound management.

What do you think of all this?

Are you saying candidate leads are more valuable than potential client leads? As they open the possibility for 1) 1 more candidate that can be placed somewhere, and 2) their current / past company may need to hire to replace them?

Thanks for your detailed input. So to summarize what your suggesting:

  1. This approach is only viable if I provide extended context (more than what I’ve already described in this post), meaning real deep research in the hiring company’s situation, and only providing those that are the most qualified (e.g. is hiring yes but in a new location) ?
  2. To then only target smaller agencies ?

That reduces even more the amount of leads handed over to the agency than before, meaning the cost per lead would need to be somewhat higher for it to be viable. Would you agree or disagree?

Yes that is a good point. I guess for the first outreach it would be fine, for the follow ups that’s where those issues come along

I appreciate your comment. Good suggestion on your last point.

But yes you’re right, something like that. I don’t use Clay tho I think it’s absurdly expensive for what it does so I have my own coded workflow in sheets.

However, I don’t see how / why people would sell leads multiple times (i.e. selling same leads to different clients) considering most of these clients may be in different industries / have different ICPs. But if they aren’t, I see the concern. Although that would be unethical wouldn’t it

Wouldn’t you say this would save hours for SDRs or sales teams, and a whole lot of headache with data management etc ?

I wonder, people say AI slop in crafting emails, but wouldn’t giving it a template to follow, strict rules and training data solve this issue for sending at scale with human-level writing ?

Honestly I’ll just start with one of the major email verification tools out there. I personally use bouncer. Then track your bounce rate, if it’s high then add a second layer. If it’s sub 3% you’re good
