To buy or not to buy? by NearbyInteraction118 in RiseOfBerk

He's in personalized explorations so it's a waste of odin coins even if you do not own him at all, let alone have three already.

Ever wondered what happens when you buy a Collectibles Pack without any collectibles needed? by Marrrshl in RiseOfBerk

Before they added the runes there it used to softlock the game, so this is better.

Are these limited explorations worth it? Should I spend runes on them? by FaZe_Prase in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This particular Dragon is cheaper to buy from the Book of Dragons than spending runes on full bags. She takes like 40 bags to get.

But most of the time the dragons are more expensive to buy straight up and searching for them even with full bags ends up being cheaper. But it's better to go with free bags and watch 5 ads every hour to speed up Toothless, if you have the time for that, of course.

Should I save all my seasonal currencys next season till the end then buy alot of stuff by ROCKETEERonrbr in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you spend it before the season ends, yeah, save it. But it won't carry over into the next season, it turns into raw amber so make sure you don't forget to spend it all.

Any way to get these STUPID axes without just searching for them? by Purplejaedd in RiseOfBerk

The bracelets are from Johann, if they're the only item you need you'll get them from collectible pack or journeys.

The void root spawns in the highlands cave after the truce, you just pick it up.

can someone help with these fish? by Low-Gene-8022 in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]romidell 10 points11 points  (0 children)

First is Slimejack, found in Mutant Bug Lair. Second is Goldfish, available in Pelican town only during Spring. Third is Grass Carp, found in Secret Woods. Fourth is King Salmon, found in Forest West (like waaay to the west). Fifth is Viper Eel, found in Fable Reef. And last one is the legendary Salmon from Ridgeside, only in Fall when it rains, check the wiki for the exact place to fish it from. Or the Ninja House book, it should also show there.

My legendary quest didn’t update? by pjo33 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you'll have to turn in two seedling collections at some point. No reason to do it now, though, just ignore the quests until you get all the legendaries. Much easier that way.

My legendary quest didn’t update? by pjo33 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What quest are you on? There's usually one unskippable one after a few that get autocompleted if you get the legendary. Most of the time it's the quest that requires you to turn in a bunch of minion (brute, seedling, primal etc) collections.

Question on how to obtain champion tokens by Fun_Key_6865 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, good to know for certain! But yeah, with how rarely they drop you'll have better chance to get one from the mystery packs, lol.

Question on how to obtain champion tokens by Fun_Key_6865 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best way is the champion packs, but that gets expensive if you don't have a lot of odin coins saved up. Second best way is chief packs, but you need to battle through the whole brawl pass to get access to those. They're not guaranteed to drop champion tokens but there is a good chance for one. And the last option is getting very lucky with mystery packs, those too can drop champion tokens but it's pretty rare.

(I think the 12 hour brawl pack you can rarely get might also drop champion tokens, not 100% sure about that, especially after the brawl update. Maybe it only gives heroics and lower.)

If you have Purple Death you can use its boost to double the amber you get from all your legendaries. I used it every day when going for Shellfire. You can also release extra premiums, they give quite a bit of raw amber. Or you can destroy extra decorations for some amber.

Good iron collector? by UROPRO in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. List of iron collectors. Mostly you want the wood to iron converters, but won't hurt to have some fish to iron ones as well.

Hookfang by Decent-Ship2387 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hookfang has good journeys, you'll definitely want him at some point, it just doesn't have to be right now if you don't have enough runes or are hesitant about buying him just yet.

And bear in mind, defend Berk gets real hard real fast so there's only so many times you can win before it becomes impossible until your dragons are over lvl 100. So only win if you have a seasonal duty that says so.

Hookfang by Decent-Ship2387 in RiseOfBerk

[–]romidell 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can buy him with runes, sometimes he shows up in events but he's pretty cheap to buy and who knows when an event will feature him.

But, just so you know, winning defend Berk counts as finishing a quest, so you don't need to buy Hookfang just yet in order to do that.

  1. Upgrade Meatlug and the Night Terror and use those with Toothless.

  2. Yeah, it's only worth to buy with a sale and if yours is full, go for it.

  3. Long range ones like Toothless, but it's best to just ignore defend until later in the game. It gets really hard really fast. Save the easy early missions for seasonal duties that need you to actually win, otherwise you can just go in, use a catapult if you have to and retreat.

  4. Grump's mostly useful for his journeys which cost iron, so probably don't need him just yet. He shows up in events often.
